A 12-year-old girl passed away today after falling from the sixth floor of a hotel in the city of Santa Fe, while she was with her sixth-grade classmates. According to information from the La Capital newspaper's website, the tragedy occurred on Thursday morning when a witness saw the girl fall from one of the balconies of the UNL hotel of the Workers' Association (ATE) of Santa Fe and alerted 911. The police arrived at the scene and found the victim's body, who, despite being taken to Cullen Hospital, arrived lifeless due to the impact.
The teenager was a student at School Normal No. 32 in Santa Fe and was at the hotel with a group of classmates to participate in recreational activities. Relevant authorities have begun investigations to clarify the circumstances of the tragic incident and determine whether it was an accident or another cause.
Classmates and teachers of the deceased were shocked upon learning the sad news, and so far, the identity of the victim has not been revealed.
